Privacy
This notice describes the account, viewer, and billing data used by Normcore.AI and Stripe.
Account and Viewer Data
Normcore stores registered account identity, My List, viewing progress, watch history, and permanent episode unlocks server-side. When checkout starts without an account, Normcore creates an anonymous session so paid access can work immediately on the same device and later move to a verified account through purchase recovery.
Stripe Payment Records
Stripe Elements handles Contact Details, card fields, and eligible Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Link controls inside the Normcore payment sheet. Stripe is the system of record for payment methods, payment sessions, charges, receipts, subscriptions, and invoices. Normcore never receives or stores full card details.
Normcore Commerce Records
Normcore stores the provider identifiers needed to associate billing with a commerce account, plus catalog and actual charged amounts and currencies, receipt email, server-side order status, subscription and entitlement projections, wallet balance, immutable coin ledger, review state, and permanent unlock records. Anonymous access claims store a masked email and keyed email digest; their single-use links expire after 15 minutes. Signed Stripe webhooks and verified server records, never browser state, determine payment and entitlement truth.
Required Cookies and Browser Storage
Better Auth uses a required session cookie for registered and anonymous sessions. Browser storage is limited to non-authoritative recent-search and playback-handoff data. Optional analytics and marketing cookies are disabled, as described in Cookie Preferences.
